Store Bay

I head to Store Bay a couple times a year and I still can't get enough of it. It's probably the most touristy beach in Tobago but there is just soo much to do in Store Bay and it's proximity to everything on the island is pretty convenient, there is even Wi-Fi on the beach! While I do love this side of Store Bay, my favorite experience was waking up around 7:00 am and heading down to the beach. Around that time the beach was pretty empty, it was like a little slice of paradise all to myself. The sun was cool, the water was crystal clear, I could see fishes swimming around my feet and the view was spectacular. I swam as much as I wanted unencumbered and enjoyed the cool refreshing water and the early morning sun on my skin. Store Bay is great for a lime but it's true beauty can be experienced in the early morning when the rest of the world is still asleep. 

Store Bay beach is one of the most popular beaches in Tobago and is located 5 minutes away from the airport.

Recommended things to do in Store Bay:

• Snorkeling
• Glass bottom boat tour (Buccoo Reef, Nylon Pool)
• Shopping (local hand-made jewelry,crafts, clothes and other items sold in shops near the beach)
• Enjoy the nearby food places (Crab & Dumpling, Bake & Shark etc.)
• Eat homemade ice cream
• Lounge on the beach
