Introduction

Welcome all to my blog Just Pack a Bag. This blog has less to do with rolling up your underwear and sticking it in your shoes to maximize suitcase space and more to do with how travelling to new destinations, experiencing new adventures and cultures, meeting people who live very differently from you, can change they way you think and live. As Proust said, "The real voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes."

My Story:

"I'll just pack a bag," a simple phrase, nothing fancy about it, just an average short statement that changed my life. It wasn't an abrupt, sudden in a split second kind of change but one that manifested itself throughout the years. I didn't even notice until later on just how often I was saying these five words. Maybe it all started when I was a kid vacationing from one family home to another but since then I have taken every opportunity to be somewhere new, see something new and live a different day.

I have traveled throughout Central America, the United States and the Caribbean and have seen true beauty in the people,the cultures, nature and architecture. This beauty is what I hope to share with you all on this blog and to hear your views, thoughts and favorite places.
